By the year 2008, the Department of Child health of the Far Eastern University- Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation will be:

4. Providing subspecialty training programs
5. A more cohesive group of highly principled pediatricians.
6. Active leaders of the Philippine Pediatric Society and other recognized local and international organizations

Competent and comprehensive pediatric care to ensure the child's growth and development, and to enable him to achieve his full potential as an adult.

The FEU-NRMF Department of Child Health is composed of diplomates and fellows of the Philippine Pediatric Society, including staff members who are trained in the different subspecialties: Allergology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Developmental Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology, Nephrology, and Neurology.

Optimum Care is rendered by the Consultants and Resident Staff in the different pediatric areas. The 26-bed capacity General Service Ward on the 5th floor is divided into the infectious, surgical, and clean wards. It also has an isolation room for patients with communicable diseases.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is designed to accommodate critically-ill infants and children, and is manned by specially-trained medical personnel.

The Neonatal Intesive Care Unit (NICU) is equipped for resuscitation, stabilization, and continuing care of sick newborns. It strongly advocates Newborn Screening of all babies delivered in the hospital.

The Department's other service areas include OPD-General Pediatric (children below 10 years old), Adolescent (patients 10-18 years old), and Subspecialty Clinics, and the Diarrhea Treatment Unit.

In partnership with the Department of Community and Family Medicine, the Department of Child Health also delivers health care to residents of Bgy. Holy Spirit, Fairview, Quezon City, through the Community Outreach Project.
