The Physical and Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Medicine Team provides the highest quality care and service to patients with functional limitations due to illness, or those who just want to improve their well-being and physical fitness.

Services offered include:

• Physiatric consultation Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Fitness Assessment Biofeedback Strength and Endurance Training Chronaxie, Rheobase, and Accommodation Ratio Assessment

• Orthotic and Prosthetic Training

Primary rehabilitation care is offered for medical purposes, such as in Cardiovascular, Orthopedic, Rheumatologic, Pulmonary, Neurological, Pediatric, and Geriatric cases, as well as Sports Injury Burns, and other cases like Immobilization Syndrome, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Other rehabilitation services include Wellness Program, Ambulatory Rehabilitation Program, Lay Forum and Group Therapy, and a Rehab Hotline. Equipment available:

• Cervical and Lumbar Traction Multigym Unit Biofeedback Unit Compression Unit Free weights and ankle weights Tilt Table Balance / Propioceptive Trainor Treadmill and stepper Overhead pulley, finger ladder, shoulder wheel Infrared and Ultraviolet Light Electrical Stimulator

• Hot packs and ice packs
