OTOLARYNGOLOGY – HEAD and NECK SURGERY
The lecture series touch on the following fields: Otology, Rhinopharyngology, Bronchoesophagology, Head and Neck Surgery, Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
CLINICAL ROTATION
The fourth year medical clerks on the other hand are assigned in the Department of Otolaryngology for 15 days. They are under the close supervision and guidance of the senior members of the staff. They will spend most of their time at the out-patient department developing their skills in making a good clinical history and physical examination, diagnosis and management of common ENT diseases.
The department has also formulated daily activities for the clinical clerks like lectures conducted by consultants in their own field of subspecialty, conferences, ward rounds, journal clubs, actual demonstration of basic ENT instrumentation and procedures, video and other visual aid presentations.
